Went to Oasis yesterday and found a whole load of lovely things... I can't believe what people throw out.

This book is the prize though - it is called 'Favourite Animal Adventure Stories' and was published by Hamlyn in 1972.  The best part though are the illustrations by Mirko Hanak

Book Art - Elle Deco - Spring 2011

Flora and Fauna of the Western Cape  - original pocket size Flora guide for the Western Cape with Sunbirds cut from the feathered guide. The background is made up of collaged flowers cut from the pages.  Further pieces are available at Haas in the Bo-Kaap and The Fringe Arts on Kloof Street and the Waterfront.   

The flying fish are one of my first works - the book is 'Tresure Island' and I have printed selected words onto the actual fish.  The background is mirrored with lines drawn - hard - into it.

Granny River and Granny Farm's Cook book

So these are my grannies recipes of very delicious things  - pretty much all SWEET.

The format is A5 print and these are the first 3.

The aim is to do about 20 of them and then start selling them as sets of postcards or something.

But for the moment they will just be in the normal print format.
